Position Summary: In accordance with our mission and values, the Director of Nursing (RN) oversees all nursing care operations, with 24-hour responsibility. This role involves developing resident-centered care models that prioritize choices, privacy, dignity, and a home-like environment. The Director directs, coordinates, and provides nursing and support services, markets the program, and participates in professional development. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current Ohio RN license
• At least two years of supervisory experience with the elderly, preferably as a DON or ADON
• Current BLS certification
• Participation in nurse on-call rotation
• Good physical and mental health
• Dexterity for injections, IVs, etc.
• Ability to lift 35-50 pounds independently; over 50 with assistance
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach
• Ability to walk, stand, sit intermittently
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Leadership and clinical competence
• Knowledge of growth and development principles for all ages
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and email or willingness to learn
