Astoria Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation is an 83-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Canton, Ohio. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. The ideal candidate must hold a valid RN license and possess strong leadership qualities, compassion, and tenacity.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Management of Nursing Department
2. Assist in Scheduling of Nursing Department
3. Assist in Management of Regulatory Compliance
4. Assist in Ensuring Provision of Quality Care and Service
5. Assist in Staff Development and Education
6. Assist in Fiscal Management of Department
7. Collaborate with Facility Management

Qualifications:

1. Management experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting
2. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and nursing practices
3. Experience in nurse management and developing care plans
4. Proficiency in medical records management
