Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Belmond, part of Legacy Healthcare, is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the Clinical Department with a commitment to exceptional resident care and a positive facility culture.

Candidates should hold an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), an Iowa RN license, five years of RN experience, and prior leadership in a Skilled Nursing setting. You will drive clinical excellence and mentor staff while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Iowa RN license.
• 5 years of RN experience.
• Experience managing a department.
• Prior Director of Nursing or SNF leadership preferable.

As a Director of Nursing you are the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Rehabilitation Center of Belmond by instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, setting and attaining Nursing Department goals, inspiring your clinical team, creative problem solving and overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, Associate's Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) in Science, Nursing or related field, an unencumbered State ofIowa Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, 5 years of R.N. experience, and previous experience managing a department. Prior Director of Nursing or experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
