Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Allison is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the Clinical Department and drive high-quality resident care. You will set goals, oversee operations, and inspire your clinical team to deliver compassionate, compliant care in a supportive facility culture.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Nursing, an unencumbered Iowa RN license, and at least 5 years of RN experience with prior management exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Nursing or related field.
• Unencumbered RN license in Iowa.
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience and prior department management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Clinical Department.
• Set and attain Nursing Department goals and standards.
• Inspire and lead the clinical team through problem solving and quality care initiatives.
• Maintains an inclusive and positive facility culture to ensure high-quality resident care.

As a Director of Nursing you are the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Rehabilitation Center of Allison by instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, setting and attaining Nursing Department goals, inspiring your clinical team, creative problem solving and overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Nursing or related field, an unencumbered State of Iowa Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, 5 years of R.N. experience, and previous experience managing a department. Prior Director of Nursing or experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
