Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Financial Services LLC’s Healthcare Nursing Center is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the Clinical Department and uphold the highest standard of resident care. You will guide the clinical team, set goals, and foster a positive, inclusive facility culture while modeling professional mentorship.

You will bring an unencumbered RN license in Iowa, at least 5 years of RN experience, and prior department management.

Qualifications

• RN license required in the state of Iowa.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience.
• Experience managing a department; Director of Nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the Nursing Department to ensure high-quality care.
• Set department goals and drive achievement through the clinical team.
• Foster a positive, inclusive facility culture and problem-solve complex clinical issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

As a Director of Nursing you are the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Healthcare Nursing Center by instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, setting and attaining Nursing Department goals, inspiring your clinical team, creative problem solving and overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, Assosciate's Degree (Bachelor's Degree preferred) in Science, Nursing or related field, an unencumbered State of Iowa Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, 5 years of R.N. experience, and previous experience managing a department. Prior Director of Nursing or experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
