Job summary

Healthcare Nursing Center in Iowa is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the Nursing Department and ensure a high standard of care for residents. You will be responsible for setting goals, guiding a clinical team, and maintaining a positive, inclusive facility culture while driving clinical excellence.

As a Director of Nursing you are the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Healthcare Nursing Center by instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, setting and attaining Nursing Department goals, inspiring your clinical team, creative problem solving and overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, Assosciate's Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) in Science, Nursing or related field, an unencumbered State of Iowa Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, 5 years of R.N. experience, and previous experience managing a department. Prior Director of Nursing or experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
