The role you’ll contribute:

To provide leadership and accountability in the strategic and daily operations of four medical surgical units in addition to the ICU and house supervisors. Developing and maintains excellent physician and associate relations, accountable for the quality of patient care provided by the nursing service. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and evaluating all functions of the service to include quality, administrative, and financial outcomes. Oversees the delivery of patient care and has the responsibility for establishing standards of nursing practice for the service and the nursing professional practice for AdventHealth as a whole. Assure achievement of department, nursing division and hospital goals as well as adherence to hospital policies and standards set forth by accreditation and regulatory agencies. May provide leadership over other departments that collaborate with nursing for care of the patients served.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Required qualifications:

• Master's of Nursing
• 4+ years of progressive clinical leadership experience
• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
• BCLS - Basic Life Support American Heart Association

Preferred qualifications:

• Leadership experience in Medical Surgical or ICU
