Description: Come join the team with WeCare at Monroeville Care Center! WeCare at Monroeville Care Center is actively seeking a motivated Director of Nursing for our community in Monroeville, PA.

Our Director of Nursing is an integral part of the care team that helps enhance the lives of our residents. Our DON is responsible for the nursing clinical department with a full support team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the facility
2. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
3. Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
5. Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, making adjustments to care plans as necessary
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
7. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and other safety measures
8. Manage staffing levels, including scheduling and shift management
9. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
10. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in nursing administration

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

1. Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse (RN) Program
2. Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in acute care or long-term care setting
3. Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
4. Ability to lead and develop personnel; knowledge of legal regulations
