The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston is seeking a Director of the Academic Success Center (ASC) at Cizik School of Nursing. This leadership role provides strategic direction, oversight, and evaluation of academic support programs to promote retention, progression, graduation, and professional development for undergraduate and graduate nursing students.

You will oversee BSN tutoring, counselor referrals, and NCLEX preparation, while partnering with faculty and campus

Formación

• Doctorate degree in Education, Psychology, or Nursing with a focus on nursing education is required.
• 7 years of experience working with nursing students and at-risk students.
• RN state licensure or Nurse Licensure Compact preferred upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Leads the Academic Success Center programs and services to improve student success and retention.
• Oversees budget, personnel management, and program assessment.
• Collaborates with faculty, student affairs, and campus partners to enhance learning outcomes.
• Mentors Graduate Success Coach and oversees Tutor programs and orientations.
• Coordinates BSN and MSN/DNP orientations and NCLEX preparation activities.
• Drives accreditation surveys participation and internal controls for operations.
