The role partners with the CNA and College leadership to align with accreditation standards and advance the school’s mission.

The Director will lead faculty and staff across programs, oversee budgets, and foster faculty development.

Qualifikationen

• Earned doctoral degree in nursing or a closely related field (PhD preferred).
• Current, unencumbered RN license (or eligibility).
• National Certification in a nursing related specialty area.
• Eligible for or current holder of academic tenure and professorship per COHS guidelines.
• 5+ years of nursing education experience (undergrad and graduate).
• 2+ years of leadership experience in academic or clinical settings.
• Experience with online teaching.
• Established record of teaching, scholarship, and service.

Aufgaben

• Serve as a member of the COHS Leadership Team and represent the School on COHS/University councils.
• Chair the Nursing Faculty Organization and Nursing Advisory Board; plan and oversee activities and meetings.
• Represent the School in state and professional organizations.
• Provide oversight of school operations and coordinate academic/administrative functions.
• Ensure efficient scheduling of courses, labs, clinicals, and faculty assignments.
