Job description

We are currently seeking applicants for our Director of Nursing position. You must submit a detailed resume to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of our nursing department in accordance with current standards, guidelines and regulations to ensure the highest quality care.
  2. Be a member of the community leadership team.
  3. Determine staffing needs and recommend staffing levels.
  4. Make daily rounds to oversee nursing staff performance.
  5. Participate in surveys by government agencies.
  6. Review nurses notes for completeness and compliance.
  7. Participate in resident assessments and interviews.
  8. Perform administrative duties such as completing forms, reports, and charting.
  9. Monitor quality and survey reports and develop corrective plans.
  10. Develop and participate in staff training programs.
  11. Maintain adequate supplies and equipment.
  12. Develop comprehensive care plans for residents.
Requirements:
  1. Must be an RN or LPN with a current Ohio license.
  2. Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
  3. Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in residential care.
  4. Leadership and supervisory skills.
  5. Ability to plan, organize, and implement care programs.
