Position: Director of Nursing
We are currently seeking applicants for our Director of Nursing position. Please submit a detailed resume for consideration.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of our nursing department in accordance with current standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Being a member of the community leadership team.
- Determining staffing needs and recommending appropriate staffing levels.
- Making daily rounds to monitor nursing staff performance.
- Participating in surveys by government agencies.
- Reviewing nurses' notes for completeness and compliance.
- Participating in resident interviews and assessments.
- Making rounds with physicians as necessary.
- Performing administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, and evaluations.
- Monitoring quality and survey reports, and developing corrective action plans.
- Developing and conducting in-service training for staff.
- Maintaining adequate supplies and equipment.
- Developing comprehensive care plans for residents.
Requirements:
- Current active Ohio RN or LPN license.
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to residential care facilities.
- Leadership and supervisory abilities.
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement quality care programs.
