Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

We are seeking applicants for our Director of Nursing position. Please submit a detailed resume for consideration.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the nursing department, ensuring quality care in accordance with standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Be a member of the community leadership team.
• Determine staffing needs and recommend staffing levels.
• Schedule duty hours.
• Perform daily rounds to oversee nursing staff performance.
• Participate in surveys by government agencies.
• Review nurses' notes for completeness and compliance.
• Participate in resident interviews and assessments.
• Make rounds with physicians as needed.
• Handle administrative duties like completing medical forms, reports, and charting.
• Monitor quality and survey reports; develop corrective action plans.
• Conduct in-service training to educate the nursing staff.
• Maintain adequate supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient use.
• Develop personalized care plans for residents, identifying needs, goals, and responsible professionals.

Requirements:

• Must hold an active RN or LPN license in Ohio.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare or care facility.
• Knowledge of age-related care needs and relevant laws/regulations.
• Leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to develop and implement care programs and policies.
