Job summary

Mary Dickson's skilled nursing facility is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing department with vision and compassion. You will mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, oversee day-to-day clinical operations, and ensure resident-centered care that meets highest standards.

This role requires a proactive leader who can balance clinical excellence with compassionate oversight. You will maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, lead survey readiness, develop clinical policies,

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience with leadership roles (DON/ADON/Unit Manager).
• Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations and the survey process.
• Strong communicator with great follow-through.
• Calm, organized, and confident leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the nursing department, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
