Crowne Health Care of Fort Payne is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in a long-term care and rehabilitation facility in Fort Payne, Alabama.

The DON will provide clinical leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor staff, and drive quality resident care and outcomes. Must hold an Alabama RN license and have leadership experience in long-term care, with strong communication and organizational skills.

• Current Alabama RN license in good standing.
• Previous nursing leadership or management experience required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must successfully complete required background check and drug screen.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Nursing Department.
• Provide leadership and oversight to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff while promoting accountability and teamwork.
• Ensure nursing services remain in compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and policies.
• Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversee appropriate nursing staffing and assist with recruitment, retention, and staff development.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities.
• Prepare for and participate in state surveys and inspections.
• Promote a positive workplace culture focused on excellent resident care and employee success.

Crowne Health Care of Fort Payne is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team within our long-term care and rehabilitation facility.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Registered Nurse with demonstrated leadership abilities, strong clinical judgment, and a commitment to quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and staff development.

Qualifications
