Qualifications

• RN license in Alabama
• BSN required; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience with at least 3 years in leadership or management

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the nursing department.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff for high performance and care standards.
• Oversee recruitment, retention, and training of nursing personnel.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
• Develop and implement policies to maintain high-quality resident care.
• Conduct audits and assessments for improvements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans.
• Ensure evidence-based practice to optimize patient outcomes.
• Address patient or family concerns promptly and compassionately.
• Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation.
• Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to operational goals.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree preferred.
2. Current Registered Nurse (RN) certification in the state of Alabama
3. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
4. Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
5. Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
6. In-depth knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards.
