We are looking for a polished Director of Nursing (DON) with experience in Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care for Miamisburg, Ohio. This is a highly rated facility by CMS and has a loyal, tenured staff.

The Director of Nursing plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the nursing staff, fostering a team atmosphere.
2. Teach and lead by example on all shifts.
3. Liaise with residents, families, and support departments to adequately plan for resident needs.
4. Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
5. Ensure knowledge of practices and procedures governing functions in the long-term care facility.
6. Develop and implement plans of corrections as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Must be a currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Ohio.
2. Must have two (2) years of supervisory experience in a long-term care setting, preferably as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing.
3. Must have strong leadership skills.
4. Must display integrity and professionalism.
