Job summary

Fusion Healthcare Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Massachusetts seeks an experienced Nurse Supervisor to coordinate resident care, lead a team, and ensure compliant, high-quality services. You will develop, review, and revise nursing policies while overseeing staff performance and recruitment efforts in a dynamic facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The coordination of resident care with a hands on management style

• Strong organizational skills

• Develops, reviews, and revises nursing and clinical policies

• Able to work days but also willing to be flexible during a staff shortage or emergency situation

• Conduct employee performance evaluations and disciplinary situations to ensure quality care of residents

• Ability to multi-task

• Knowledge of Long Term Care Regulations

• Ability to lead in the recruitment of qualified staff by conducting interviews

• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant

• Ability to focus on customer service and collaboration with other departments to develop, support, and coordinate patient care and related functions

• Promote an atmosphere of respect, professional growth, and encouragement for all nursing staff members and assure regulatory standards and company goals are met or exceeded

• Responsible for cost controls by monitoring the use of supplies and equipment

Experience:

• supervisory: 3 years (Required)

• long term care: 5 years (Required)

License:

• RN (Required)
