Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management in Savannah, GA is seeking a Nursing Leader to direct and evaluate nursing care across a long-term care center. You will drive quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee the clinical budget while mentoring the staff and acting as backup to the Nursing Home Administrator.

The ideal candidate holds an ASN or higher, active RN licensure, and 1+ year leadership experience, with a preference for long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher in nursing is required.
• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum 1+ years of nursing leadership experience.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing/sub-acute care experience preferred.
• Proficiency with a PC and EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care for patients and residents in a long-term care setting.
• Plan and manage the clinical department and ensure quality care, regulatory compliance, and budget oversight; lead the clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to patients and residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing / sub-acute care nursing center (all units).
• Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the clinical department, ensuring quality care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and managing and controlling budget, and will provide leadership and oversight of the center's clinical staff and will serve as the Nursing Home Administrator's backup as needed

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) or above required
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required.
• One (1+) years nursing leadership experience required.
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing / sub-acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Must be proficient in the use of a Personal Computer and possess ability to navigate Windows and Microsoft Office programs, Internet-based Applications, and EMR Software.
