Job summary

Pettigrew-Rehabilitation-Center in Durham, NC is seeking an RN with leadership experience to oversee nursing care in our long‑term care and sub‑acute units. You will direct clinical operations, ensure quality care, and back up the Nursing Home Administrator.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) or above required.
  • Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice required.
  • One (1+) years nursing leadership experience required.
  • Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing / sub-acute care setting strongly preferred.
  • Must be proficient in the use of a Personal Computer and navigate Windows and Microsoft Office programs, Internet-based Applications, and EMR Software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to patients and residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing / sub-acute care nursing center (all units).
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the clinical department, ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, and managing and controlling budget, and will provide leadership and oversight of the center's clinical staff and will serve as the Nursing Home Administrator's backup as needed
