The HWD is the clinical leader supporting clinical operations within the branch. This position works closely with the Director to ensure a thriving environment for our residents.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure principles of assisted living and Bickford’s culture are integrated into resident care
• Develop and participate in the on-call schedule for after-hours support
• Maintain regulatory compliance
• Communicate proactively with residents and families
• Oversee medication administration ensuring adherence to physician’s orders
• Coordinate healthcare services with external providers
• Manage partnerships with local vendors for quality external care

Qualifications

• RN license
• Willingness to undergo additional training or education as required by state
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
