Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, accounting, or related field.
• 7 years of progressively responsible payroll, tax compliance, and HRIS administration experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs payroll operations for Auburn University, Auburn University at Montgomery and affiliated operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Establishes strategic priorities, service standards, objectives and internal controls for payroll administration.
• Oversees payroll systems, timekeeping, integrations, tax tables, configurations, and related processes; drives upgrades and enhancements.
• Ensures compliance with multi-state payroll and tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and related rules.
• Provides guidance to university leadership, HR, Finance, IT, auditors, and external agencies; directs audits and tax reporting.
