Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, HR, or related field.
• 10+ years of payroll experience with at least 5 years in leadership across multiple states.
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state payroll laws and wage/hour rules.
• Experience processing 401(k) contributions, loans, and compliance reporting.
• Hands-on experience with garnishments, levies, and statutory orders.
• Advanced Excel skills and data reconciliation experience.
• Experience with government contracting is strongly desired.
• Certified Payroll Professional certification or willingness to obtain one is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end processing of weekly and biweekly payroll across multiple contracts and states with accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Interpret and administer payroll provisions including wage rates, overtime, shift differentials, holidays, leave, and benefits.
• Oversee 401(k) deferrals, matching, and loan payments and the timeliness of their transmission to the Plan.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Prepare payroll reports, GL files, cost reporting, tax reconciliations, and variance analyses for Finance and leadership.
• Develop, update, and maintain SOPs, workflows, reconciliation processes, and internal controls.
• Manage payroll staff and coordinate with HR, Finance, and external vendors.
