Chimers is hiring a Director of Messaging Operations to build and run the operational engine behind every member message—from campaign execution to channel health, deliverability, automation, and governance in a high-volume, regulated environment.

You will lead a growing execution team, set the strategy, and partner with MarTech, Growth Engineering, and lifecycle strategy leads to turn plans into live, high-quality messaging across email, push, in-app, and SMS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in marketing or CRM operations, including 3+ years leading teams.
• Deep expertise with engagement platforms and CRM tools (Braze or similar).
• Strong governance experience: channel, deliverability, compliance and QA.
• Experience building toward automation with AI/agent concepts in marketing operations.

Responsibilities

• Own the Messaging Operations engine and set its operational strategy across campaign execution, channel health, deliverability, automation, and the platform layer.
• Own the end-to-end operational process from intake to launch: build, QA, deployment, and standards ensuring quality and speed.
• Drive the automation and AI-agent roadmap, moving from manual execution to automated workflows and integrating learnings into Lifecycle roadmap.
• Own governance for everything that ships: channel standards, deliverability and compliance, and the QA model in a regulated environment.
• Own channel excellence across email, push, in-app, and SMS with health, analytics, opt-in/out, and deliverability benchmarks.
• Build and lead a growing technical team: execution lead, channel/platform specialists, talent sourcing, clear expectations, and empowered outcomes.
• Act as Lifecycle's primary stakeholder to MarTech and collaborate with Growth Engineering to turn plans into live messaging.
