The Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations (PACDC) seeks a Director of Member Programs to lead membership and capacity building in the Philadelphia region. The Director will manage PACDC’s membership and capacity-building team, ensuring member perspectives shape program offerings and organizational strategy.

As a member of the management team, you will oversee strategy, training, and peer-learning initiatives, aligning programs with member needs and securing strong

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressively responsible experience in Philadelphia community development.
• Strong knowledge of local organizations, funders, partners, and leaders with a broad network.
• Supervision experience; ability to mentor staff and foster accountability.
• Strategic and creative thinking to translate needs into programs and partnerships.
• Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and interpersonal communication.
• Experience designing programs and managing budgets.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Commitment to PACDC’s mission and advancing equitable Philadelphia.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for PACDC’s membership program, driving engagement and growth.
• Build trusted relationships across a diverse member base and translate needs into actions.
• Oversee workshops, capacity-building, and leadership development with partners and funders.
• Guide Equitable Development Conference planning and other cohorts.
• Lead department goals, budgets, and staff development within a high-performing team.
• Contribute to organizational strategy, evaluation, and decision-making.
