Job summary

The Philadelphia Association of Community Development Corporations (PACDC) seeks a Director of Member Programs to advance membership engagement and capacity building across the Philadelphia region. You will lead PACDC’s membership and capacity building team to connect with member organizations and translate their needs into program strategy.

As a member of the management team, you will shape organization-wide planning, budgeting, and resource development, while guiding programming such as

Qualifications

• At least ten years of progressively responsible experience in the Philadelphia community development space.
• Strong existing knowledge of local organizations, funders, partners, and leaders with broad networks.
• Demonstrated supervision experience with collaboration and staff development while maintaining accountability.
• Strong strategic and creative thinking to translate needs into programs, partnerships, and priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience designing and implementing programs, including managing budgets.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Commitment to PACDC’s mission and advancing equity in Philadelphia.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for PACDC’s membership program and strengthen member engagement, connection, retention, and growth.
• Oversee workshops for members, identify priorities, and develop high‑quality programming with partners and funders.
• Lead Equitable Development Conference planning and related committee work.
• Oversee onboarding programs like the Cohort‑based Professional Development initiatives.
• Identify emerging member needs and develop new programs, services, and partnerships.
• Evaluate the quality and impact of capacity‑strengthening programs and drive continuous improvement.
