YMCA of the Cedar Rapids Metro Area is seeking a Membership Director in Owensboro, KY, to lead membership initiatives, drive sales and retention, and supervise the membership staff. You will engage members, partners and the community, while ensuring outstanding customer service and program integrity.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting acumen, and a commitment to YMCA core values. This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to the CDO and CEO.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old at minimum.
• Strong skills in communication, staff supervision and development, budgeting, time management, planning, and interpersonal relationships.
• Must receive First Aid and CPR training within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Develops, implements, and manages strategic membership initiatives across the organization to increase sales, retention and satisfaction.
• Leads organization membership team meetings and guides policies with emphasis on customer service.
• Hires, trains, and supervises staff and volunteers; provides leadership and communicates effectively.
• Reviews staff performance and motivates achievement of goals.
• Handles membership concerns and supports all membership functions when needed.
• Participates in community meetings to promote membership for the Y.
• Creates staff schedules and ensures proper coverage during operating hours.
• Oversees corporate account recruitment and retention; administers the financial assistance program.
