Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have valid 100-ton USCG Captain’s License with immaculate operational record.
• Minimum 15 years of marine experience; includes 5 years in leadership as Port Captain or equivalent.
• Strong business acumen to interpret reports and budgets.
• Knowledge of Coast Guard rules and EPA regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Marine Operations team to ensure safe, high-quality cruises.
• Direct and coach Captains and crew; monitor training needs and development.
• Ensure compliance with Coast Guard regulations and safety protocols.
• Develop and manage marine budget; monitor costs and purchasing systems.
• Build positive relations with regulators and local stakeholders.
• Lead safety management and emergency drill execution across the fleet.
