Job summary

Interstates seeks a Director of Manufacturing Supply Chain to lead strategy and execution across our manufacturing footprint. This role oversees the entire supply, collaborating with manufacturing, materials, and delivery leaders to align purchasing, logistics, and supplier relations with business goals.

Based in or able to work from Sioux Center IA, Sioux Falls SD, or Omaha NE, this role requires 5+ years in supply chain leadership, strategic purchasing, supplier management, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required in business, supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in strategic purchasing, supplier management, or logistics operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute manufacturing supply chain strategy in alignment with objectives.
• Coach and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and materials teams for day-to-day planning.
• Direct strategic purchasing, including supplier selection, sourcing, negotiations, and spend management.
• Build supplier relationships and redundancy strategies to reduce risk.
• Establish supplier scorecards and corrective actions.
• Partner with offer category and delivery leaders to support timely deliverables.
• Own manufacturing logistics strategy and execution.
• Assist VP with budgets and forecasts.
• Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance, processes, systems, cost, quality, and overall supply chain effectiveness.
• Represent Interstates at supplier meetings and industry events.
• Support strategic initiatives as needed.
