Interstates is seeking a Supply Chain Manager – Manufacturing to lead supply chain strategy for a manufacturing offer category and build a strong, capable team. You will influence supplier performance, inventory planning, forecasting, sourcing, cost management, and project execution to impact material availability and client satisfaction.

You will drive continuous improvement, develop talent, and manage collaborations with internal teams and supplier partners while traveling as needed.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience with inventory management, including inventory levels, availability, and material flow.
• Experience with MRP—Material Requirements Planning—processes and systems.
• Experience with forecasting and translating demand into supply and material requirements.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, emails, specifications, and contracts.
• Sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating successfully with others.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30%, with additional travel as business needs require.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the supply chain offer category team with clear direction and coaching.
• Coordinate onboarding for new team members and conduct performance reviews.
• Drive inventory optimization, material availability, and efficient material flow.
• Use forecasting and MRP processes to translate demand into supply and material requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, spend, pricing, delivery, and quality; direct spend to improve value.
• Assist with contract negotiations including pricing and schedules.
• Oversee budget with support from Director of Supply Chain.
• Identify suppliers aligned with Interstates’ values and build relationships.
• Attend supplier and industry conferences to expand market knowledge.
