Spring Arbor Senior Living of Bartlett, TN is looking for a Maintenance Director to join our team and mission to serve our seniors! The Maintenance Director is responsible for ensuring the community is safe, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing, while overseeing all projects and implementing community maintenance policies and procedures efficiently and cost-effectively.

WHAT YOU WILL DO!

• Oversee and perform maintenance of all building systems, including management of preventative maintenance programs, to ensure compliance with fire/safety regulations and that the community is tour & rent ready. Includes grounds maintenance.
• Manage, disperse, and track maintenance service requests using TELS.
• Prepare rooms for incoming residents using skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.
• Maintain MSDS Program to ensure OSHA compliance. Manage Life Safety regulations, including fire drills, elopement procedures, and disaster preparedness.
• Supervise and motivate a small staff, guiding them to meet daily goals.
• Operate within departmental budget guidelines.
• Partner with other department heads to achieve community goals.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 5 years of progressive maintenance experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, preferably in a senior care environment
• PTAC repair experience and HVAC certification
• Knowledge of managing budgets and staying within guidelines
• Thorough understanding of hazardous materials (MSDS) and Life Safety planning
• Ability to lead, train, develop, and motivate team members
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
