Job summary

Crowley, a privately held U.S.-owned logistics provider, seeks a senior sales leader to grow strategic accounts. Hybrid work arrangement in Jacksonville, FL, with responsibilities spanning revenue growth, pipeline development, and cross-functional collaboration across logistics, transportation operations, and imports/exports.

The role emphasizes building and maintaining relationships with key customers, leading a sales team, and applying marketing techniques to maximize opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, transportation, logistics, marketing or a related field, or a combination of post-high school and equal experience may be substituted for education.
• 10+ years of sales experience in transportation operations, shipping logistics and imports/exports.
• Experience developing and executing strategy initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales strategies, programs, plans and sales schedules for select accounts in logistics, transportation operations and/or imports or exports in addition to acquiring new business.
• Maintain top level contact with both existing and new customers in the logistics/transportation arena.
• Leads business development team for growth and expansion in the asset and non-asset sectors of FTL and LTL operations.
• Apply effective marketing techniques to maximize the impact of sales efforts.
• Maintain, track and capture a pipeline of opportunities available for solicitation with close coordination with the contract administration group.
• Work with industry contacts, the financial community and trade organizations to identify and capitalize on service opportunities.
• Build and manage the business development staff to monitor, control and manage company operations.
