Job summary

Park State Bank in Virginia, MN is seeking a strategic Head of Loan Operations to oversee Loan Servicing, Loan System Analysts, and Loan Scanning teams. This role will set vision, govern process improvements, and align loan operations with the bank's goals.

You will lead product and service enhancements, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with CIO, lenders, and compliance to drive growth, client service excellence, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field; 10+ years of financial service operations experience.
• Five+ years of banking, loan operations or credit services management with leadership of teams.
• Strong knowledge of loan operations, lending regulations, compliance, and risk management.
• Experience leading system implementations and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead loan operations, servicing, systems analysis and scanning teams.
• Define vision and strategy for loan products and services.
• Coordinate regulatory timelines and SLAs, resolve issues.
• Oversee audit/regulatory requests and follow-ups.
• Improve processes, policies, and client experience.
• Prepare and deliver loan reports for Board and audits.
• Manage vendor relationships with loan tech providers.
• Plan staffing, workflows, and capacity planning.
• Lead loan system changes and acquisitions migrations.
• Provide SME guidance to IT, lending, compliance stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
