FarmOp Capital is seeking a Director of Loan Accounting in Saint Paul, MN, to lead the loan accounting team and own end-to-end cash management, reporting, and banking relationships. The role reports to the COO and drives scalable processes for a growing agricultural lending portfolio.

The ideal candidate brings deep loan accounting expertise, 8+ years in the field, and proven leadership, with hands-on experience in bank reconciliations, month-end close, and investor reporting.

Formación

• 8+ years in loan operations or financial services, with 2+ years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of loan documentation and accounting principles.
• Experience leading and mentoring a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Proficiency with loan management systems; implementing improvements is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Mentor and develop loan accounting staff with performance feedback.
• Establish quality controls and sign-off protocols.
• Serve as escalation point for complex transaction issues.
• Build capacity and coverage models for growth.
• Oversee full-cycle cash management for originated loans.
• Direct bank reconciliations and month-end close.
• Ensure timely internal and investor reporting.
