Ultimate Staffing is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager on behalf of a client, a well-established agricultural financial institution. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of loan accounting operations, including transaction approvals, financial reporting, and team management. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in loan accounting, strong analytical skills, and a passion for process improvement.

Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Oversee loan operations, approving high-risk financial transactions such as disbursements, wires, and ACH, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and reporting standards.
• Serve as the expert for resolving complex loan servicing issues, collaborating with relationship managers and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, conducting performance reviews, managing priorities, and supporting staff growth through coaching and mentoring.
• Prepare and review loan accounting reports for senior leadership and the Board, identifying and resolving variances in financial data.
• Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and leverage technology, participating in cross-functional meetings to advocate for service improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10 years of accounting experience, including loan accounting.
• 7+ years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, loan pricing, reconciliation, and journal entries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
