Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Director of Lending to lead the Lending and Collection operations at our Springfield, IL credit union. You will implement department procedures, oversee compliance, and drive growth while maintaining outstanding member service.

Responsibilities include setting goals for loan portfolio management, developing policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building industry relationships. Requires 5+ years in lending leadership and an active NMLS designation; a Finance-related

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial or lending management position.
• Ability to hold NMLS designation.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk management, loan documentation and compliance and collection practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Lending team with goal setting and initiatives for loan portfolio management.
• Develop and maintain department procedures and policies to support growth and performance.
• Support strategic goals of the Credit Union with the Operations team to drive sales and member service.
• Ensure regulatory compliance of required loan documentation and internal policies.
• Maintain industry referral sources and participate in training and community events.
• Guide credit practices and risk management of collections with focus on delinquent accounts.
• Support audits and fraud prevention initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
