The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks an Assistant Director of Learning Systems & Faculty Support to lead instructional design, curriculum support, and learning system initiatives within the UNC Adams School of Dentistry. The role provides course consultation, syllabus development, and Canvas materials coordination for faculty and course leaders.

You will analyze student performance data to support decision-making and help improve assessments, while coordinating training

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in education or related discipline with curriculum development or learning theory coursework; orBachelor’s degree with two years of related experience
• Knowledge of instructional design, learning theories and teaching methodologies
• Ability to evaluate course content and learning objectives across diverse subjects
• Knowledge of educational assessment methods and evaluation strategies
• Familiarity with instructional media and classroom technologies
• Strong written and spoken communication with diverse audiences
• Ability to develop professional materials and present data clearly
• Experience collaborating with faculty, staff and students across programs

Responsabilidades

• Lead school-level instructional design and curriculum support
• Coordinate syllabi and Canvas course materials development and approval
• Develop and deliver educational training resources and online modules
• Maintain standardized resources like templates for syllabi and lesson plans
• Support curriculum mapping and align course objectives with learning activities
• Analyze student performance data to inform Teaching Committee decisions and improve assessments
• Provide support for classroom instructional technologies and multimedia resources
