Job summary

David Weekley Homes is seeking a Director of Learning in Houston to own the enterprise learning strategy, governance, and program delivery. You will partner with executives to translate strategy into a prioritized learning agenda, modernize content, and drive scalable solutions across markets.

You will build and lead the Program Manager Team and Coach Team, collaborate with HR, IS, and Field Operations, and manage a learning budget to ensure impactful development across the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a leadership role within a learning function.
• Experience building governance models and scalable learning operations.
• Has played a key role in an organizational learning transformation.
• Experience working with a dispersed, field-based organization.
• Experience in new home construction is ideal, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise-wide learning strategy, operating model, and LMS governance.
• Translate business strategy into a clear learning agenda, partnering with executives to define priorities.
• Evaluate existing learning programs to identify opportunities for simplification and improved alignment with goals.
• Modernize learning content and delivery methods; integrate technology to enable scalable learning.
• Build partnerships with HR, Information Services, and Field Operations to align learning strategy with execution.
• Translate business model shifts into learning solutions that clarify processes and responsibilities across markets.
• Lead and develop the Program Manager Team overseeing the Coach Team for consistency and impact.
• Execute budgeting to address learning priorities and development needs across the business.
