NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) Police seeks a Deputy Assistant Commissioner to lead the Training Division, oversee a regional education program, and develop policies across multiple law enforcement training initiatives.

The role requires extensive leadership in public safety, coordination with diverse agencies, and strong capability in learning management systems and data visualization. NYC residency may apply.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with at least 18 months in administrative, managerial, or supervisory roles.
• Four years of full-time experience, with 18 months in admin/managerial/supervisory activities.
• Experience in law enforcement leadership or public safety preferred.

Mansioni

• Oversee the DCAS Police Training Division and a regional law enforcement training program.
• Develop and administer stakeholder-focused education materials and training engagements.
• Maintain oversight and development of training staff and certifications.
• Monitor the effectiveness of all training programs and identify improvements.
• Coordinate and procure training with external private organizations or government agencies.
• Manage training and personnel records and respond to audits and investigations.
• Overhaul the records management system and develop a comprehensive learning management system.
• Design data visualizations using computer systems (charts, tables, dashboards).
• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders, managing projects and requests.
• Assist DCAS Police executive staff with operational policy development.
