Job summary

ROSTR, Inc. seeks a Label Manager to acquire and lead assigned content/labels, maximizing revenue and acting as the primary liaison between labels and the MVD team for business operations.

Key responsibilities include signing labels for content, coordinating cross-team efforts, and building strong label relationships. Experience in Film or Music entertainment and proficiency with MS Office, CMS, and PM tools are expected.

• Ability to manage expectations of labels and sales team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CMS, and project management.

Job description

The Label Manager is responsible for acquiring and leading assigned content/labels with an aim to maximize revenue for their labels. The Label Manager serves as the primary liaison between the labels and the MVD team on all matters related to the labels' business operations.

• Targets, negotiates, and signs labels for content and distribution.
• Coordinates efforts between MVD's labels and teams, including sales, delivery, inventory, and marketing.
• Develops key relationships with team members from each of their labels.
• Other reasonable work as assigned by their supervisor.

Key Competencies & Skills:

• Knowledge of Film and/or Music catalog and releases.
• Strong organizational and task management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; adept at managing a large volume of emails and conference calls/meetings.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience in the Film or Music entertainment business.
• Ability to manage expectations of our labels and sales team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, content management systems, project management.

Salary & Vendor Bonus:

$60,000/year + Vendor bonus rate (.006 of margin)
