Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking a Director of Knowledge Management to lead a team of KM attorneys and support the firm’s practice and industry groups. The role focuses on capturing expertise, developing valuable knowledge resources, and enabling consistent legal service delivery across offices.

The Director will advance a firmwide knowledge strategy, partnering with practice, industry, innovation, technology, marketing, talent, and operations to improve attorney productivity and client value.

Qualifications

• J.D. required and licensed to practice law.
• Minimum 6+ years in employment litigation and/or knowledge management.
• Minimum 3+ years leading a team or cross-department project implementations.
• Experience leading knowledge management, practice enablement, or related initiatives.
• Experience developing legal content, model documents, playbooks, or workflow tools.
• Familiarity with legal tech, enterprise search, document automation, or AI tools.
• Strong change-management, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the KM team and set a firmwide knowledge strategy aligned with priorities.
• Collaborate with practice heads and administration to align KM with goals.
• Standardize workproduct, create playbooks, improve matter execution, reduce duplication.
• Develop and maintain knowledge libraries, precedents, and templates.
• Oversee governance, quality, and risk alignment of knowledge assets.
• Drive adoption of AI-ready content and technology solutions.
