Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking a Director of Knowledge Management to lead a team of KM attorneys and transform how the firm captures expertise, builds resources, and delivers legal services.

You will partner with practice, industry, and operations groups to strengthen productivity and client value. The role reports to senior operations leadership and focuses on knowledge governance, asset development, and leveraging AI-enabled solutions across the firm.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree required for admission to practice law.
• 6+ years’ experience in employment litigation or knowledge management.
• 3+ years’ experience leading a team or large cross‑department projects.
• Experience building or governing legal content, precedents, playbooks, and workflows.
• Familiarity with legal tech, enterprise search, document automation, and AI tools.
• Strong change-management, communication, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the KM team and develop a firmwide knowledge strategy.
• Collaborate with practice and industry heads to align KM with firm goals.
• Standardize work product, create playbooks, and improve matter execution.
• Oversee content creation across practice groups and maintain knowledge libraries.
• Drive adoption of AI and technology to improve speed, quality, and consistency in service delivery.
• Coach leaders and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
