Job summary

Cumulus Media in Reno is seeking a Director of Sales with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering revenue growth across on-air, digital, and live events. The role emphasizes strategic planning, recruiting top talent, and building strong client relationships to drive multi-platform campaigns.

You will coach and support sales teams, manage CRM and forecasting, and collaborate with other departments to optimize campaigns and maximize profitability. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in broadcast or digital sales with leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing or related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license; travel required.
• Proficient in multi-platform sales including radio and digital.
• Experience with CRM, inventory management and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to exceed revenue goals.
• Lead, coach and develop sales talent.
• Recruit and maintain a bench of candidates.
• Oversee CRM usage and reporting; coordinate promotions.
• Negotiate national and local rate plans and budgets.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure client satisfaction.
