We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to join our Institutional Retirement team. Responsibilities
- Build and cultivate relationships with sales teams at partner organizations to drive institutional retirement plan sales.
- Conduct outbound prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation efforts.
- Develop new sales strategies and explore untapped markets beyond existing partnerships.
- Manage relationships within assigned sales channels, including payroll vendors, TPAs, and other partner firms.
- Conduct presentations, both virtually and in-person, to potential clients and partners.
- Participate in conferences, roadshows, and other sales events as needed.
- Leverage Practifi (Salesforce) to track sales activity and manage the pipeline.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop innovative sales ideas and drive business growth.
- Maintain deep industry knowledge, including 338 fiduciary services, product offerings, and competitive positioning.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of sales experience, ideally within institutional retirement plan sales or a related financial services field.
- At least 2 years of experience in retirement or institutional sales.
- Knowledge of ERISA 338 fiduciary services and the ability to articulate their value in sales discussions.
- Strong cold-calling, prospecting, and lead generation skills with a proven track record.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, capable of independently generating and closing business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred but not required.
Job Type & Schedule
- Full-time, Exempt
- Remote with a preference for candidates in Tampa, FL.
- Working hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, with occasional evening/weekend hours.
- Up to 20% travel may be required.
