Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Director of Epidemiology Pipeline (TA-Immunology) to provide scientific leadership across immunology trials, post-marketing safety initiatives, and real‑world data programs. You will partner with RWLP leadership and sponsors to shape study designs and deliver timely epidemiologic insights.

Requirements include a graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; strong leadership; and proficiency with SAS, R or Python.

Qualifications

• SME in Immunology clinical trials.
• Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics or Public Health; Master’s or Doctorate preferred.
• Knowledge of study designs; familiarity with post-marketing and late-phase designs and guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of SAS, R, or Python.
• Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills.
• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scientific resource for RWLP management and other functions, providing expertise in multiple scientific areas.
• Collaborate with RWLP management, business development, and operations to develop and win global opportunities; lead proposals and capability presentations.
• Provide scientific oversight of selected projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the project manager on study start-up and ongoing management; develop protocols, CRFs, SAPs, study reports; facilitate scientific advisory boards.
• Maintain knowledge of practice guidelines, study designs, and regulatory expectations; develop trainings for RWLP.
• Develop organizational capacity and processes for non-traditional site management tasks and RWLP SOPs; advance technology solutions.
• Develop relationships with sponsors and investigators, and contribute to abstracts and manuscripts to promote company services.
