Job summary

ECOLAB is seeking a Director of Identity to mature the enterprise IAM program across strategy, governance, and operations. You will lead a global IAM function responsible for identity governance, privileged access, authentication, lifecycle management, and cryptography in alignment with risk and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/security.
• 12+ years in Identity and Access Management or security engineering.
• 5+ years of leadership managing multi-team IAM functions at Senior Manager/Director level.
• Experience owning governance, policy development, audit response, and control maturity.
• Experience building or standing up new security capabilities, teams, or services.

Responsibilities

• Lead IAM strategy, governance, and operating model aligned to cybersecurity and business objectives.
• Deliver enterprise IAM capabilities including identity lifecycle, joiner/mover/leaver, access provisioning, reviews, and privileged access.
• Oversee RBAC governance, passwordless authentication, PKI modernization, and identity security posture improvements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (applications, infrastructure, cloud, HR, audit) to implement identity controls.
