Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Director of Security Engineering to lead enterprise security architecture, engineering, and exposure management in a Fortune 500 environment. You will own proactive security posture, drive cross‑functional initiatives, and build a CTEM capability across multi‑cloud, on‑prem, and OT domains.

The role requires extensive leadership of security teams, strong knowledge of CIS benchmarks and NIST CSF 2.0, and a track record of delivering posture improvements on schedule.

Qualifications

• Leader with 12+ years in cybersecurity, architecture or vulnerability management.
• 5+ years in senior security leadership roles managing multi-team functions.
• Experience delivering security initiatives and posture improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own security architecture standards and compliance posture enterprise-wide.
• Lead CTEM function and vulnerability remediation governance.
• Oversee security engineering across endpoints, cloud, network, and OT.
• Partner with Observability and Automation teams on SIEM integrations.
• Translate governance requirements into technical controls and policy enforcement.
