Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in New York seeks a Director of Housekeeping to uphold the highest standards while driving efficiency across operations.

You will lead a team in Rooms Division, manage payroll within budget, and ensure compliance with safety and luxury resort standards. The role requires extensive leadership experience and a passion for guest satisfaction in a city setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of management experience in Rooms Division, two years in Housekeeping and Laundry.
• Must have working knowledge of computers and systems; hotSOS, REX, ADP and Birchstreet experience preferred.
• Proven ability to schedule staff and complete payroll records and reports within budgeted guidelines.
• Fluency in English is required for this location; Spanish bilingualism preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with contract companies and seasonal workforce to ensure delivering quality product and meeting Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts standards.
• Ability to resolve guest interactions with high levels of hospitality and professionalism; accommodate special requests when possible.
• Responsible for processing payroll and adhering to budgeted labor standards.
• Monitor and control inventory and divisional expenses such as uniforms, linens, guest supplies, cleaning supplies and contract services.
• Interview and select staff; supervise, mentor and evaluate performance; maintain staff morale and productivity.
• Participate in regular staff meetings to communicate hotel policies and changes and improve guest satisfaction.
