Four Seasons Hotels New York seeks a Director of Housekeeping to uphold the highest luxury standards across the resort and residences, driving efficiency and guest satisfaction. You will lead housekeeping and laundry teams, ensuring spotless, safe spaces in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate with contract firms and seasonal staff, manage payroll within budget, and mentor supervisors to sustain Four Seasons’ renowned guest experience on Billionaires' Row.

Formación

• Minimum 4 years of management experience in Rooms Division.
• Experience in Housekeeping and Laundry; Local Union experience preferred.
• Proficient in hotel management software and payroll systems.
• Fluency in English is required for this location.

About The Role

The Director of Housekeeping ensures that the highest standards are consistently met while promoting efficiencies and productivity in all aspects of the operations. Also Serves as a Hygiene Office to ensure that the entire resort and residences operations are in compliance with the LWC safety standards.

What You Will Do

• Work closely with contract companies and seasonal workforce to ensure delivering quality product and meeting Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts standards.


• Ability to resolve customer complaints and handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.


• Responsible for processing payroll and adhering to budgeted labor standards.


• Responsible for monitoring and controlling inventory and divisional expenses such as uniforms, linens, guest supplies, cleaning supplies and contract services.


• The ability to interview and select job applicants as well as effectively supervise, discipline, mentor and give performance evaluations for employees and convey clear instructions and guidance to staff and establish working relationships that attain a high level of effective employee morale.


• The ability to participate in regular staff meetings to keep employees informed of hotel policies and changes as well as ways to increase guest satisfaction and service standards.

What You Will Bring

• Minimum 4 years of management experience in Rooms Division, two years experience in Housekeeping and Laundry, previous Department Head experience preferred. Local 6 Union experience preferred.


• Must have working knowledge of computers and systems, previous hotSOS, REX, ADP and Birchstreet experience preferred.


• A proven record of being able to schedule staff and complete payroll records and reports in accordance with budgeted guidelines.


• Thorough knowledge of luxury resort standards preferred.


• Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants
