Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown is seeking an Extra Guestroom Attendant (On Call) to join our luxury housekeeping team. You will help maintain pristine guest rooms and public spaces, delivering exceptional service in a Forbes 5 Star environment.

As a guestroom attendant, you will follow Four Seasons standards, assist with turndown service, restock amenities, and respond to guest needs with professionalism and warmth. This role offers on-call flexibility within our dynamic hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality housekeeping preferred.
• Able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and public areas following Four Seasons standards.
• Assist with turndown service and restock amenities as needed.
• Respond to guest requests promptly with courtesy and professionalism.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a neat personal appearance.

As Guestroom Attendant, you will become accountable for shaping the client experience by providing exceptional service in support of our world-renowned hotel. This position reports to the Housekeeping Management Team.

Essential Functions

• Clean guest rooms and suites following the established procedures and Four Seasons standards.
• Adhere to the established standard of safety, fire regulations, and department procedures and policies.
• Able to utilize Rex - HotSOS to be advised of assignments and/or any computerized applications.
• Comply with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
• Complete work assignments from the Housekeeping Department as assigned using required keys, equipment, supplies, etc.
• Remove all garbage and recyclable items and place in the appropriate bins inside the service area.
• Offer assistance to any guest in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance.
• Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
• Restocks used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery, pens, etc.
• Prepares assigned rooms for turndown guests.
• Clean and maintain all terraces of the hotel.
• Execute all room attendant duties in occupied rooms, turndown rooms and check-out rooms as assigned.
• Clean and maintain the main guest entrance area and adjacent plaza area including but not limited to removal of cigarette butts, trash, snow, leaves etc.
• Comply with any additional requests that may arise pertaining to Housekeeping duties.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Report any damages or repairs and maintenance needed to Housekeeping.
• Report any items found in check-out units to Security and Housekeeping, adhering to the Lost and Found policy.
